EQUUS (GB) PAUSE FOR THOUGHT REVIEW

Yesterday Saturday September 13, the 2014 running of the St Leger Stakes (Group 1) (Flat Turf ) was run at a place known as Town Moor Doncaster (Racecourse) ", This race having eclipsed the even older Doncaster Cup as the most important race run at the course. For three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies run over a distance of 1 mile 6 furlongs and 132 yards (2,937 metres)

The St Leger is  one of five British classic races run each year since September 1776 at Doncaster Racecourse at a place known as Town Moor.  The final leg of both the colts' and fillies' Triple Crowns.

Over the centuries horseracing has developed into a popular “Global Horseracing Gambling Game” .

HISTORIC TIMEFORM

The Life and Times of Phil Bull the founder of Timeform

CH4 Jim (Jimbo) McGrath worked with Phil Bull and Timeform for many years. It could be said that Jimbo was close at hand throughout Phil Bull’s planning, action and direction for Timeform. A sort of lead horse form guide for all punters. Which did not focus on the True Equus Zone area of the racehorses themselves.

Ireland and Britain have had many truly great horsemen involved in horseracing, and still have. But governments are not allowing all those who actually belong in the true Equus Zone  in 2014 to take British horseracing out of the dark ages into a new era the same that Bull did for the punters. Maybe governments are managing and have been managing to take so much money out of the sport themselves that they think best to leave well alone if that is they can go on getting away with their deception and Lip Service.

It could be said that Phil Bull with Jim McGrath beside him brought the British Horseracing Gambling Game out of the dark ages into a new era completely.  A massive achievement.
