Argentina's Bergoglio elected as new pope Francis
VATICAN CITY | Wed Mar 13, 2013 4:28pm EDT

"VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina was elected in a surprise choice to be the new leader of the troubled Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, the first non-European pontiff in nearly 1,300 years, and said he would take the name Francis I.
"Pope Francis, 76, appeared on the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica just over an hour after white smoke poured from a chimney on the roof of the Sistine Chapel to signal he had been chosen to lead the world's 1.2 billion Roman Catholics.
"Pray for me," the new pontiff, dressed in the white robes of a pope for the first time, urged the crowd.
"The choice of Bergoglio, who becomes the first Latin American pope, was announced by French cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran with the Latin words "Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum. Habemus Papam" ("I announce to you a great joy. We have a pope.")

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment.
Wondering if 'New Pope Francis' Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina will show compassion for all creatures who inhabit this earth as did St. Francis of Assisi (Italian: Francesco d'Assisi, born Giovanni di Bernardone; 1181/1182 – October 3, 1226)[2
On July 16, 1228, he was pronounced a saint by Pope Gregory IX. He is known as the patron saint of animals, the environment, and is one of the two patron saints of Italy (with Catherine of Siena). It is customary for Catholic and Anglican churches to hold ceremonies blessing animals on his feast day of October 4.[7] He is also known for his love of the Eucharist,[8] his sorrow during the Stations of the Cross, and for the creation of the Christmas creche or Nativity Scene.[9]

Wondering what 'New Pope Francis' Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina will comprehend   of SPRINTER SACRE winning The Queen Mother Champion Chase this afternoon? Will 'New Pope Francis' recognise SPRINTER SACRE'S true life and times story? Of the people who share in  the true life and times SPRINTER SACRE'S story? Of the people who were minding SPRINTER SACRE at Cheltenham Festival Championships all day today, and taking him home to Lambourn safe and sound after his wonderful win?  And the every day minding of SPRINTER SACRE within Team Henderson? Team Henderson who put the Great back into Britain every single day.  A Britain however that is very far from great, a Rip Off Britain infact, in a very sorry state indeed. With billionaire bankers ripping off the tax payers each and every day, courtesy of out of touch politicians in a failed political system belonging in the dark ages. We see the huge crowds in St Peters Square today awaiting for news of who the New Pope is to be. We also see similar huge crowds at Cheltenham Festival having a day out for a change. And what a day out it was.

WIN: 11-12311 CHAMPAGNE FEVER (IRE) (Novice) 6 11-7 partner RUBY WALSH handler presenter? trainer Willie Mullins for Mrs S Ricci  5-1

3.05 Racing Post Arkle Novices' Chase 2m Level Weights 11-7
WIN: 2111-111 SIMONSIG 7- 11-7 partner BARRY GERAGHTY handler presenter  trainer Nicky Henderson for A R Bartlett 8-15f
SIMONSIG has moved on this season from Hurdling to Novice Chasing .
Novice Chaser SIMONSIG has still much to learn about 'Chase Fence Accuracy,' something he can only learn in practice in a race on a racecourse with partner BARRY GERAGHTY to guide and mind him in practice in a race. (teach him). Distance 2l+ 7 ran.
All Novice hurdlers and chasers will make mistakes whilst learning. These horses have a lot to learn, something that BHA government and punters take for granted, with scant regard or understanding.

Clare meets up with Paul Nicholls at home Ditcheat this morning to take a look at UNIONISTE who challenges this afternoon for the 2.40 RSA Chase  (Grade 1 Novices Chase over 3m). A hot race. Will it go to Team Nicholls, Team Mullins? or Team Henderson? What do you think? Don't forget this is a Novice Chase so all these horses still have a lot to learn.
Wondering if those being interviewed, their names can stay on screen throughout the time each new person is introduced, if possible it would be good?
